Sally Haig knew she was an artist from a very
early age. She took classes at the Saturday
School at the Massachusetts College of Art during
high school and received her Bachelor's degree in
Fine Art from Bard College. Since then she has
studied in workshops with various artists such as
Helen Stanley, Tony Couch, Arne Westerman and
most recently Robert Burridge.
Sally enjoys painting outdoors and uses her own
photos as reference to finish work in the studio.
She has a loose painterly style with a keen color
sense. She works in acrylic and watercolor.
She is a member of the Pleasanton Art League
and the Livermore Art Association
Sally has organized a weekly Art Critique and
Coffee at the plaza outside Tully's Coffee at 349
